The Hunt
“The Hunt” was written for the second round of the NYC Midnight Short Screenplay contest. The assignment: write a short SP (5 pages or less) in the SCIENCE FICTION genre. Also, a fish farm and a plunger had to be in the SP.
On November 20th, the scores for this round were made public. “The Hunt” earned a score of 12 out of a possible score of 25. My combined scores allowed me to proceed to the third round.
This is the entry (with no revisions). It was a difficult assignment for me and I did not get much enjoyment from writing it.
Logline: Two students must finish a scavenger hunt through time or they will have to repeat the class.
