Judging Time
“Judging Time” was originally written for MoviePoet’s June 2009 contest. The assignment was that the entire story must take place inside a criminal court room, a judge’s chambers, or a jury room.
I wanted to write a story about time-travel and this is my first attempt at that. Also, I wanted to put use of the “research” I had compiled from my feature “A Thousand Miles to Freedom”. This project did that, too.
Logline: In 1851, a Judge wants to go fishing, but lightning changes his plans.
