A Note to Filmmakers…
I write “shorts” to learn and hone the craft of screenwriting. I offer them to filmmakers for “free” so they can learn their craft. All I ask in return is full writing credit, plus a CD with permission to put the film on my web-site after the filmmaker has make the contest rounds with it. When I give a filmmaker permission to use my shorts, this permission lasts for one-year.
Before you begin working on one of my short SP’s, obtain permission first. I will change the SP’s status from “available” to “in production”.
Also, if you see a short you like but would like something changed on it … just ask. In most cases, I’ll be able to accomodate the filmmaker and rewrite it with suggested changes.
