Logline: More than anything, Bart wants to be Darth Vader.
Filmmaker: Margaret Ricke.
January, 2010: Production book is being made. Props have been ordered and shipped.
February, 2010: Margaret reports that this will be filmed during her one-month vacation in Florida.
March, 2010: Plans have changed. Filming will be done in Bagley, Minnesota… after the vacation.
April, 2010: Bart will be played by Bernard Van’t Hul AKA “Bernie the perfect Bart”. Shooting will be scheduled in the very near future. As soon as “behind the scenes” pictures are available, they will be posted.
May, 2010: Bart was filmed but Margaret was not happy with the lighting. So she ordered a light kit and some wireless mics. After filming, there was an accident and Margaret ended up having hand surgery. So, everything is on hold for a while so Margaret can “mend”.
July, 2010: Most of the project has been refilmed. The main actor is on vacation and they are waiting for him to get home so they can do one more scene. Getting closer!
Mid-July, 2010: Filming is done, now the editing. Margaret is jazzed about the project and I can’t wait to see it. She has put a lot of her “self” into getting this made and I’m really sure it’s going to be great. Here are some pictures to enjoy!
