Week-end Plans? Contest Writing or Not?
At midnight tonight, NYCMM will announce the writers who advance to the finals. Going into the third round, I was sixth in my group. Since, the top five of each group advance, I have a chance. Just depends on how the judges score “Daddy Help Her”.
I would love to compete in the finals but, if I don’t, I got what I needed to get from the competition. I learned that I can write under pressure, within a time constraint. Good to know.
I’m still rewriting “Unknown Caller”, and I’m getting close to ”the end”.
The ends are hard for me… I’m hoping a bit of brilliance will slap me in the face so I can come up with some kind of a twist within a twist. If I surprise myself, maybe readers will like it, too!
